Since November, there is big news on 3 fronts: research team expands, na2ure.org, and a Kickstarter: |
• Research team expands |
In December, na2ure welcomed Kathy Hirsh-Pasek (Temple University)and Roberta Michnick Golinkoff (U Delaware) who have been researching together for decades, to our research team. Since then, we have been busy reaching out for foundation grants, as well as sorting out which NSF program best suits a big study, and writing all this up in applications. If you know any foundations who align with our work, please let us know. |
•• na2ure non-profit |
To further our mission of researching and developing the impact of elegant design on emotional well being, we are setting up a na2ure non-profit to that aim. na2ure.org will allow us to research the patternABC, bioIcons, motionabc. It will centralize our research goals, findings, team, and studies we want to run to gather more data. More data means more studies— which means more money. Please visit our landing page here, and share with anyone you feel is interested. Our research team, our research goals, and our interim advisory are all listed. Our board advisory will choose the full board over the next year plus. Our for profit arm, na2ure.com, will transition to prototyping products for individuals and schools, and work with production, distribution, and sales partners. Adding $1 per product to those items, means we can donate those items 1:1 to kids in need! |
••• Kickstarter for clear patternABC cards |

We plan to launch our Kickstarter April 22, and we hope you will buy up the 100 early bird specials on the first day. Kickstarter staff feature projects which take off early – please, help us do that by getting early rewards, telling friends on social media. It would be great to achieve some stretch goals. |
I will remind everyone of the launch next week. Cheers, Alex + Vijal |
